Zynga Acquires OMGPOP

It was only yesterday we popped up the rumour of Zynga being interested in acquiring OMGPOP and today… it happened! Zynga has pulled the DrawSomething developer on board.

Though there’s still no news on the amount Zynga paid for OMGPOP, it is expected to be in the range of $150m to $250m. This is a huge deal given the fact that about two months ago, OMGPOP was just a regular developer.
