Zynga Acquired Newtoy

Zynga has acquired Newtoy, the studio that developed the For Friends app series on the App Store. Zynga was interested in acquiring Newtoy for its knowledge in social gaming.

Already, 10.000.000 people play Zynga’s mobile games on a monthly basis. The gamers from Newtoy will be adding to this community. Millions of Newtoy gamers play over an hour a day.

Newtoy will be renamed to Zynga With Friends. Newtoy’s CEO Paul Bettner will keep heading the studio.
