Zeetoo, the company with the daring plan to release an analogue
joystick for mobile games, got a fresh cash injection to enter the
market.
The Zeetoo analogue joystick called Zeemote was reported on our blog before when developer Finblade released a compatible mobile game and finally seems to be entering mass production as the company received a $ 6.9 million funding.
The funding round was led by VC firm Nauta. Commonwealth Ventures and Egan Capital joined in the investment.
The Zeemote is not the only mobile joystick like product that Zeetoo developed. The company also created a trackball and accelerometer. We wonder when or if Commodore Gaming will still release the joypad they showed at E3 2006.
