With most consumers transferred to alternative platforms like Android, iOS and Windows Phone, Windows Mobile is now heading to an end of life status. Starting May 9th, Microsoft will take down its marketplace.
Microsoft advices consumers to update their apps before that date if possible. From May 9th onward, consumers that wish to install apps on their devices will have to start looking for alternative sources. To date, the marketplace for Windows Mobile held only 7.000 apps.
