Microsoft has launched a web interface for their Windows Phone Marketplace. Though consumers will browse and pay via their browsers, games will not be sideloaded but still installed over the air.
Installation of the purchased items will commence as soon as the consumers start the Windows Marketplace app on their phones. Through this solution, we can imagine that Microsoft wishes to move toward an iTunes competitor for software purchases.
