Windows 8 a Lot Like Windows Phone 7

Microsoft has put a video on YouTube detailing what Windows 8 will be looking like. The first thing that comes to my mind is “Windows Phone 7”, and that’s not far sought.

The whole video gives me the idea that Windows Vista is actually embedded in a tablet OS. The whole OS is touch-optimized and the live tiles are prominently places on the welcome screen. Ah, just watch the video to get an idea of what I mean.

UPDATE – The ARM version of Windows 8 will not run older Windows software.
