Webwag Acquires MobileScope

September 22nd, 2009 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Companies & M&A | No Comments »

Mobile-scope

With the old In-Fusio going down, one of the components that wasn't salvaged for the new In-Fusio Europe was the MobileScope platform business. It has now been acquired by Webwag.

Webwag (which is owned by a former In-Fusio employee called Florent Pitoun) will use the MobielScope technology to offer white lable app stores to operators. One of the channels that came with the deal was Orange France where they host the embedded Orange Games channel.

It is unknown if MobileScope will be renamed. MobileScope has been a name from the early days of the mobile games industry where it was a very successful mobile games developer.
