Having just revived the BlueBeck Studios about a month ago, Volker Hirsch is now joining Scoreloop as strategic advisor. With many years of experience in mobile and social platforms, this could be a perfect match.
With BlueBeck Studios in mind, we asked Volker why he’s also joining Scoreloop and how the two positions match up;
“First of course, I was flattered that such a talented team and innovative company chose me to help them in their ongoing development in this exciting and fast-evolving sector.” Said Volker Hirsch to MobileGamesBlog.com. “The two positions as strategic advisor to Scoreloop and founder & CEO of Blue Beck cross-pollinate each other and help both companies: it allows me to bring the views of the game creators to Scoreloop, which should help accelerate their trajectory. At the same time, I can work with the best and most versatile technology in the field and help develop it into an even better solution, which is of benefit to Blue Beck, too. In short: Blue Beck is a creator of social games, Scoreloop facilitates that and is to that extent the perfect accompaniment.”
“I have long been propagating the importance of incorporating social connectivity as a core component in games, particularly also in mobile games. Mobile is the first personal mass medium and social tools leverage its unique position and power. However, as users switch between screens more and more easily, I believe that connectivity across platforms will also become very significant and this is my hope as to new features for the Scoreloop solution: I think it is less about adding yet another little tweak. The big one for me is cross-platform capabilities.” He added.
Congratulations
