Vodafone announced that it has sold 10.000 iPhone 4 smartphones in the first two days the company was allowed to actually sell them. Over 3.000 of these had been reserved over the internet.
In one of the shops, a new iPhone was sold every 6 minutes. This number of mobile phones sold in such a short period of time is an absolute record for the operator and shows that many consumers are still eager to purchase a device that is 6 months old. Next to Vodafone, operator KPN also started with their iPhone 4 sales.
