Vodafone NL has recently started to replace it's Live! portal by the new MyWeb portal (we wrote about the migration some time ago). As a next step, the operator prepared the portal for the iPhone.
MyWeb is more then a link portal stuffed with shops. It is actually a full widget platform based on Opera's HTML and JS standards and available to both Vodafone and non-Vodafone clients.
To make the portal useful for the biggest part of their consumers, the operator has also invested to make it compatible with the iPhone.
