A few years ago, the purchase of Activision-Blizzard turned Vivendi in the biggest games company ever. Now, it seems like Vivendi is interested in selling off the games division.
Activision’s shares grew with 4.5% last year, while Vivendi’s shares have been hit by a 28% decline of value over the past twelve months. This means Vivendi needs to start reorganizing and selling off their games business might be a logical step to them. Activision-Blizzard is valued at $13 bln.
