Vivendi’s premier project of the year has finally launched on mobile after receiving several awards already from the critics.
Urban Attack is a first person shooter, much like the Die Hard or Time Crisis ones on the Playstation 1. The game is fully developed in vector graphics. This means there is a lack in color depth, but that is compensated with the fast response of the game and the fact that 3D environments can be generated even on non-3D handsets. The game features 100 different character animations and 60 stages.
“We are very excited to launch the highly anticipated Urban Attack and are extremely proud of delivering a game that truly represents an evolution of the action game on mobile phones,” said Paul Maglione, president of Vivendi Games Mobile. “Urban Attack leverages intense graphics, an engaging storyline and unique gameplay into a totally new franchise that we are sure will take mobile gaming to the next level.”
