Does this title sound familiar? It should, as Pub Darts was one of the better selling mobile darts games years ago. The developers behind the game today are even the same as back at the first release.
The first release of Pub Darts (and the whole Pub range of mobile games) was done by Iomo. Later, the company got acquired and re-branded to InfoSpace Games. Since InfoSpace halted their mobile endeavours and sold off all their property, the guys from Iomo, who went to start Finblade, have now been able to resurrect the mobile darts game.
The game was widely known for it’s simple gameplay and the team says it has further improved the whole gameplay experience. Though the title will now have to battle a lot more competing mobile darts games in the market, the expectations from the team as well as publisher Vivendi Games mobile are high.
John Chasey, president of FinBlade, said: "It’s great to see Pub Darts returning to the marketplace and with the fantastic support of Vivendi Games Mobile, we look forward to the game exceeding the success and expectations of fans of the original."
“The sequel to the hugely popular Pub Darts takes the game to the next level, with more challenges, in-game characters and user-defined options,” said Paul Maglione, president of Vivendi Games Mobile. “We are delighted about working with FinBlade to bring this popular franchise back to the market. We look forward to Pub Darts 180 creating a new standard for quick, casual mobile gaming fun across a wide range of carriers and portals.”
