UPC NL Provides Consumers with Free Mobile Internet

February 21st, 2012 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Other news | No Comments »

UPC (part of Liberty Global) has launched a new mobile internet offering in The Netherlands. Consumers that already take their triple-play offering will get free mobile internet with their subscriptions.

Consumers will get 50MB free, every month. All they have to do is purchase a €10 (Micro)SIM card. Every MB more, will cost €0,05, but consumers are able to buy MB’s in bulk as well. This deal is ideally positioned toward owners of 3G tablets that only need data. This move by UPC might make connected hardware and corresponding apps much more popular.
