Consumers seem stuck on Microsoft’s upgrade policy for Windows Phone devices. Developer evangelist Nuno Silva noted in an interview that Windows 8 will become available on first- and second generation Windows Phone devices.
That interview on a website called Zwame has been taken offline though WMPoweruser has published part of the interview. Yet other sources say there’s no upgrade to Windows 8 for current Windows Phone devices. Microsoft hasn’t published a clear statement on this at all, leaving consumers in the dark on their possible Windows Phone investment.
