It’s consolidation time again. This time we aren’t going to announce a game developer that went belly up. This time we say goodbye to a complete platform and it’s called UIQ.
In a message from Sony Developer World, the company announces that it will keep creating open phones and that it will stay loyal to Symbian. It will not be the UIQ platform though, which the company pushed for many years. Instead, the company has selected S60 5th edition for it’s upcoming range of mobile phones.
