About a year ago, Gameloft and Ubisoft officially parted, though still working tightly together. Today, we received the news that Ubisoft actually acquired one of Gameloft’s studios.
The studio holds 120 employees and was set-up in 2006. With the acquisition, Ubisoft will add this development power to their handheld console games division. Ubisoft has also plans to grow the studio to a workforce of 500 employees. By the end of this year, the team should already have grown to 200.
