With the help of Twistbox, Sandlot games has released their hit game Super Slyder as a play for prizes title, thus bringing gambling to the casual games front.
The consumers will be able to acquire one month term subscriptions on the mobile game, allowing them to match up against others in order to try and win real world prizes. The Super Slyder Play for Prizes game will first be deployed on Verizon and soon after on several other operators.
"Super Slyder is a great fit for the Play For Prizes format – its mind-bending puzzles are incredibly easy to play on mobile devices, and perfect for competitive action," said Daniel Bernstein, founder and CEO of Sandlot Games. "Now new and existing Slyder fans can put their skills to the test and compete against each other for tons of cool prizes. We’re really excited to be partnering with Twistbox so our fan-base can partake in some friendly Super Slyder competition."
"Sandlot Games’ Super Slyder fits the Play For Prizes mold perfectly – the game is straightforward, highly competitive and addictive, and the characters and game play keep you coming back for more," said Alison Horstmeyer, Vice President, Business Development of Twistbox Games. "The fact that players can win high-value prizes on a daily basis by competing in skill-based, head-to-head tournaments against real players, not only makes the game even more compelling but also drives sustained game subscriptions."
