Turner Broadcasting has signed a three year EMEA distribution deal with GlobalFun to bring their brands to the J2me markets. At the same time, Kiloo scoops Ben10 for non-gaming content.
Apart from J2me, GlobalFun also received non-exclusive rights to deliver the brands to other platforms like Windows Mobile, Symbian and Android. Amongst the brands are the Powerpuff Girls, Johnny Bravo and Ben10.
“We’re very excited about this mobile games deal with Turner Broadcasting which will enable the media owner to continue to leverage their assets on mobile platforms. This deal is testament to a strong and successful partnership.” commented Marcus Johansson (CEO) and Bertil Krumnack (Executive Vice President Sales & Business Development) in a joint statement from GlobalFun.
Joe Braman, Commercial Director, Turner CN Enterprises adds “We have worked with GlobalFun in recent years on the development and distribution of mobile games throughout EMEA. They are a creative and proactive company who focus on solutions for content owners and operators. These new games will add to the wealth of great Cartoon Network mobile content being produced.”
