THQ has made a rather remarkable transaction by selling off THQ Wireless to 24MAS as THQ also noted that it will remain publishing mobile games on the more successful platforms.
As it seems, 24MAS has bought the rights to distribute THQ and third party content to operators world-wide (probably referring to platforms like J2me, Android and Symbian) while THQ holds the rights to iOS and other emerging smartphone platforms where it can self publish.
THQ Wireless will be integrated into 24MAS.
Via.
Congratulations
