Dutch mobile game developer The Saints Content Creators has won a Canadian PopVox New Media Award for Best Mobile Game with their mobile GPS football game called NavBall.
NavBall is a GPS based football game. This means, in order to play, teams have to run around in order to shoot a virtual ball into a virtual goal. A match lasts for 30 minutes. After the match ended, the winning team is displayed.
For those that want to play the game and have an N95 or other device with GPS, The Saints organizes NavBall matches on Saturday 14th and 21st of June. Registration is open at www.nlgd.nl.
The NavBall promo video is available on MGB-TV.
