A few months back, we reported the acquisition of Player One by ROK and soon after, the fact that Player One was going in administration. ME investigated ROK and manage to shed some light on the case.
Player One was not closed down by ROK, but by its original directors. They closed the company when they learned that ROK was trying to transfer the IP in the company to another ROK subsidiary called Player One Marketing which was founded by ROK on October 28th.
Since Player One went into administration in December, the original directors have managed to re-launch the company which is a sign that those directors are committed to running the Player One business.
Meanwhile, ROK claims that it never had a position at the board of Player One, and Player One is owing ROK over
Congratulations
