Though the New iPad has been released in most EU and US markets now, the device still hasn’t launched in the market it is being created. The country is pretty strict on which devices are allowed in.
But, good news for Apple as it seems the WiFi version of the iPad has been approved for the Chinese market. The launch in China is a bit controversial as Apple is in a legal fight with a Chinese company called Proview. Proview owned the rights to the name iPad and licensed them to Apple. Proview however stated that the rights didn’t include China. With the device being available in China, the number of devices sold could explode, which means good business for app developers.
