Though this is still a rumour, the net is currently filled with the latest news about the TapTap Revenge games from Tapulous. Apparently, the company has signed Coldplay for a branded version.
When Google'ing around, we didn't even find a lot of blogs and news sources writing about this news, but also a lot of screenshots. That means that the rumour is most likely to be true.
It's not the first time that Tapulous licenses an artist to star in it's mobile game. It has already licensed several brands from record label EMI. When the game was first launched, it only featured unknown artists.
