Though TapTapTap doesn’t focus much on mobile gaming, this developer does show that the iPhone App Store has potential enough to keep a development company running for a while.
The company attracted 90% of their sales from the US. It made over $ 75K in less then a month. After Apple’s share was deducted, the company was left with nearly $ 53K or $ 2.2K a day from its two applications.
The company does admit that the last days weren’t successful at all as the apps dropped from the charts pretty fast. Once you are past the 50th position, you get into a free-fall situation.
