TapTap Goes Big With EMI

December 8th, 2008 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Brand Licensing | No Comments »

Tapulous
Tapulous, makers of the popular TapTap Revenge game on the iPhone, has started collaborating with EMI to provide the record label with their own version of the popular mobile game.

In the EMI version, players will be able to tap along with artists like Daft Punk and Junkie XL. TapTap is also talking with several other record companies in order to expand the offering. It seems like TapTap does exactly what Guitar Hero did on many other platforms.

Currently, Tapulous is already offering a lot of remixes from hot artists like Katy Perry and the Keizer Chiefs. Around Christmas, the company hopes to release a Weezer version that includes a track exclusively recorded for the mobile game.
