Taito (owned by Square Enix Holdings) has signed a deal with Dutch studio Rough Cookie to bring their GameJam 2008 award winning mobile game concept Waterways to the iPhone.
The GameJam 2008 event was organized by the Dutch ministry of foreign events, NLGD and the Dutch Game Garden. This way, the Dutch and Japanese celebrated 400 years of active trade.
Taito and the Dutch Embassy in Japan will continue to work together to stimulate Dutch games within the region.
