Following a successful launch in Brazil and Mexico, Zeebo is planning to bring their console to the Chinese market. One of the strong features of the console is the low piracy rate versus cheap games.

Zeebo Launches in Mexico

Zeebo, the console aimed at the low budget consumer, will be launching on its second Latin American market; Mexico. The console is already supported by various mobile game developers as it only allows game purchases over a 3G connection.

Fishlabs Heads to the Zeebo

Fishlabs has announced that it will be starting up development of games for the Zeebo platform. The first mobile game that will be ported to the bigger screen will be Galaxy on Fire.

Mike Yuen Leaves Qualcomm for Zeebo

It was to be expected as Mike Yuen had been involved in the startup of console maker Zeebo last year, but now Mike Yuen, probably the face of Qualcomm for mobile gaming, is leaving the company.

Zeebo, it’s Mobile and it’s Not

Months ago, we posted about a brand called Zeebo and it's support from Qualcomm's Mike Yuen. Though speculations at that time pointed at just a new mobile gaming platform, it now turns out to be a full blown console, yet aimed at the mobile gaming market.
