Samsung Discusses Windows 7 Upgrades

Samsung is talking with Microsoft about the possibility to upgrade several smartphones to Windows Phone 7 Series. Those devices are soon to be launched with Windows Mobile 6.5.

MIX10: No Real Time Multiplayer for WP7

We haven’t even arrived at the Microsoft HQ and already we see the first rumors drop into our mailbox. According to our source, the OS will have support for two screensizes and Multitouch.

GDC: Microsoft Presents XNA Game Studio 4.0

At the GDC, Microsoft took the time to announce their XNA Game Studio 4.0. This SDK is needed for all developers that like to release mobile games on Windows Phone 7 Series devices as well as the Zune and XBLA.

MWC: Windows Mobile to coexist with Windows Phone

It seems the introduction of Windows Phone 7 Series will not be the end of Windows Mobile 6.5. According to a Microsoft spokesman, both platforms will continue to sell in 2011.

MWC: Adobe Announces Flash for Windows Phone 7 Series

Adobe has announced to start supporting Flash for Windows Phone 7 Series soon. In return, the company plans to halt further development of Flash on Windows Mobile 6.5.
