Microsoft An employee of HTC Russia has leaked hardware requirements for Windows Mobile 7 on this Twitter. The requirements clearly show that new ‘Windows Phone’ devices are set to compete with the iPhone.

Microsoft Accidently, Microsoft has released the Windows Mobile 6.5.3 SDK on their website. Shortly after publication, the first quality complaints were filed and Microsoft took the SDK back offline.

Microsoft Russian developer/journalist Eldar Murtazin has managed to get hold of a Phone containing an early Windows Mobile 7 build. According to his first tests, the device is not able to run 6.x software.

Samsung Drops Symbian for Bada

Bada Samsung has announced a new Open Source OS called Bada. The first Bada device is expected to hit the shelves during the first six months of 2010. To warm up developers, it announced that Bada will replace Symbian OS.

Gartner’s Android Predictions for 2012

Gartner Gartner has put some research in the future of Android and it seems the OS is here to stay. The company expects that Android will outsell iPhone OS in about two years but might not be able to beat Symbian.
