It seems the end is over for the dumbphone if we have to believe Samsung. Though the manufacturer still creates a large amount of feature phones, it is expected that Bada will be their new OS.

It has been hanging in the air for over a year already, Ericsson’s eStore. It has been unveiled today at the Mobile World Congress. At the launch, the store already holds 30.000 apps and games.

Vodafone NL has recently started to replace it's Live! portal by the new MyWeb portal (we wrote about the migration some time ago). As a next step, the operator prepared the portal for the iPhone.

Verizon is joining the Joint Innovation Lab. This initiative (which has been started by Vodafone, Softbank and Chine Mobile) is focusing at developing a global widget platform in the hope to create on standard for all OS’s.

Just under a year ago, T-Mobile announced that they would stop selling Nokia handsets because of Nokia's Ovi service. Now, PocketGamer reports that T-Mobile is embracing the Ovi store on it's network.
