Symbian-foundation Symbian has revealed the third generation of the Open Source OS called Symbian^3. One of the most important aspects will be the strong graphical overhaul for the UI that should make it more attractive for the consumer.

Sonyericsson SonyEricsson has just released Flash Lite UI 2.0 Beta. With this new beta, SonyEricsson allows developers of Flash Lite games to easily create an UI that fully complies with the user experience of the device itself.

A company called The Astonishing Tribe (or tat) has launched a video in which they show off eye tracking on a mobile phone. Through this technology, a true sense of 3D can be created.
