Though mobile phones have never been a real target for hackers, a security agent from NetQin claims to have uncovered a Symbian based botnet consisting of 100.000 mobile phones.

Symbian to Keep Half the Market?

Symbian Foundation Release Plan Revealed

On the Symbian Foundation blog, David Wood revealed Symbian's plans to do a major release of the platform every six months. The Symbian versions that are currently in production are Symbian^2, Symbian^3 and Symbian^4.
