At the Bada presentation, Samung also announced the Bada category for the Samsung Developer Challenge. The company set up a price pot worth $ 2.7 Million in total.

Today, Samsung showed the first version of the Basa OS to the public. With the Bada platform, Samsung hopes to build a smartphone platform that will address the needs of many different consumer types.

Samsung Drops Symbian for Bada

Samsung has announced a new Open Source OS called Bada. The first Bada device is expected to hit the shelves during the first six months of 2010. To warm up developers, it announced that Bada will replace Symbian OS.

iPhone Allowed Access to Korea

One of the technological well developed countries that didn’t have the iPhone yet was South Korea. This was because the government didn’t allow the device in because it didn’t have Korean positioning technology on board.

Samsung to Open Their App Store next Month
