Apple Apple has started field tests with a new generation iPhone. This iPhone was spotted by developer Pandav who reported it to MacRumors.com. The new iPhone identifies itself as iPhon3,1. The current iPhone 3Gs is known as iPhone2,1.

Apple According to various sources, Apple is planning a serious update for the iPhone platform. Apart from bringing a much smaller model, the company would also be working on a SDMA/GSM hybrid.

iPhone “2009” Dutch Launch Confirmation; Fragmentation Coming?
