Though Google is pushing Android Market as the primary sales channel on Android, Google’s Eric Schmidt has apparently invested in PocketGear, another sales channel for mobile apps and games.

Pocketgear Acquired Handango

App sales channel PocketGear has announced the acquisition of competitor Handango. Handango is one of the oldest independent sales channels for mobile games and applications for all platforms.
