Bango Seems 4.0 TOS Proof

Bango has announced that its analytics service is in-line with the new Terms of Service from Apple. Reason for this is Bango’s ‘unique’ tracking system. This while it is still not clear what ‘Device Data’ means.

SocialKit to Bring Facebook onto iPhone OS 4.0?

Gunning for Safety discovered that Apple might be working on Facebook integration for iPhone OS 4.0. The iPhone already supports Gmail, Microsoft Exchange, MobileMe, AOL and other user accounts.

Bad news for web services and Adobe as Apple has updated the terms and conditions for iPhone developers yet again. Through article 3.3.1 the use of external compilers has been prohibited.

iPhone OS 4.0 will be available to the iPad this fall while the iPhone will have it along the summer already. iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2G and below will not have multitasking.

Apple is not only taking on social gaming networks but as expected, they also launch iAds mobile advertising. This will be Apple’s own advertising platform that offers native advertising API’s.

Though consumers love to downloads huge amounts of apps, there has always been a limit of 148 apps in total. Apple will now be lifting the limit with the use of folders.

Google to Split Android

According to rumors, Google has plans to split Android up. That way, consumers can get access to API’s of future Android versions without having to wait for vendors and operators to make new firmware available.

Apple Released iPhone SDK 3.2 B4

Today, Apple has released iPhone SDK Beta 4 (two weeks after the last one). Though iPhone developers can download the SDK, it will be focused mainly at iPad development.
