Orange Supports MeeGo

MeeGo, the OS formerly known as MaeMo from Nokia (now Intel/Nokia) has gained support from Frensh operator Orange. The operator confirmed it will be developing services and content for the platform.

Intel and Nokia Release a new OS Called MeeGo

Juniper: One Million Ovi Maps Downloads a Somewhat Modest Achievement

IDC: Android to be 2nd Mobile OS by 2013

Ovi Opens to Dutch Consumers

Until today, Dutch consumers could only visit the English Ovi store and where limited to charging their credit cards whenever they wanted to make a purchase. Now, the store is localized and premium SMS billing is enabled.

Nokia Announces ‘1’ Maemo Phone for 2010

Though Nokia announced Maemo as replacement OS for its high end handsets (and so, replacing Symbian), the company has revealed toward Reuters that it will release only one Maemo phone in 2010.
