MWC: Tizen Beta launched

The Linux-driven project Tizen has just launched the first Beta version of the new open source operating system for smartphones. With the release of the beta, the team also made available the first SDK for developers.

MWC: Google Activates 850.000 Androids a Day

MWC: Inis Builds Eden to Greeeen for Quad-Core CPU’s

MWC: App Devs to pay for AT&T Data Usage

AT&T seems set to allow developers to pick up the databill for consumers on the operator’s network. The service will allow developers to create apps that function in a similar way as toll-free phone numbers.

MWC: Microsoft Releases new Windows Phone SDK

Nokia has launched a number of new smartphones today. The most interesting one was actually the Lumia 610. The device still had the same screensize, but is the first one with a limited availability of RAM.

MWC: Qualcomm Goes Pro on Snapdragon S4

Qualcomm has introduced their new S4 Pro Processor that builds on the success of the Snapdragon series. The new SoC goes under the name of S4 MSM8960 and holds an Adreno 320 GPU.

LG Preparing for NFC Launch on Windows Phone
