I am noticing a trend among mobile game
developers today. Many of the commercial games out there offer
screenshots as well as a sample video of the gameplay. The problem
is that these videos usually have the sound completely removed!
Sometimes there will be higher resolution music placed in the demo to
promote the game, but it usually is thrown in at the last minute and
has no relevance to the movement on the screen.

Gameloft Licenses Spiderman and Iron Man

Gameloft announced an exclusive multi-year, multi-product mobile game licensing agreement with Marvel Entertainment. The agreement commences in 2009 with mobile games based upon the comic book adventures of Spider-Man, as well as a mobile game based upon Iron Man 2, 2010's blockbuster sequel to the $570 million worldwide box office smash.

Gameloft, was selected today by the editors and readers of iLounge as the "iPod and iPhone Game Developer of the Year" for its contributions to iPod and iPhone gaming. Editors also chose Gameloft's Platinum Sudoku as the "Game of the Year".
