It seems like Windows Phone 7 is about to receive a name change as Microsoft releases the Mango update this fall. The giant called the new Mango update Windows Phone 7.5 on one of it’s websites.

Nokia to Launch WP7 Store

Microsoft and Nokia have signed their cooperation agreement earlier than both expected and that brought some interesting news to the table. Nokia is the first vendor that will have their own WP7 store.

Microsoft has launched the beta version of Touch Studio, a new development sapp for their Windows Phone 7 devices. O yeah, it is an app that you need to run on your WP 7 device.

IDC: Windows Phone 7 Second Largest Platform by 2015

According to new research from IDC, Windows Phone 7 seems to have potential to become the second largest mobile operating system by 2015. Android will have the lead in that year.

Apple to Sue MiKanDi Too!?

Following the lawsuit towards Amazon, it seems like Apple will also start chasing MiKanDi, an Android app store. Reason for this is that MiKanDi promotes itself as the first ‘Adult App Store’.

Microsoft’s Zune Hardware EOL!?

According to an anonymous source at Bloomberg, Microsoft is set to end production of new Zune media players. Zune never made it outside of the US and never managed to be a real competitor to the iPod.

Try Before You Buy Successful on Windows Phone 7
