Genivi Alliance Selects MeeGo for in-car Entertainment

Nokia to Take on the iPad

According to analyst Rodman Renshaw, Nokia is ready to start competing for the tablet market. According to an article in ‘The Street’, Nokia is working on a MeeGo based tablet.

Orange Supports MeeGo

MeeGo, the OS formerly known as MaeMo from Nokia (now Intel/Nokia) has gained support from Frensh operator Orange. The operator confirmed it will be developing services and content for the platform.

Intel and Nokia Release a new OS Called MeeGo

MeeGo is a mix of Nokia’s new Maemo platform with Intel’s Moblin. This Linux based OS will be installed on devices from both vendors like Phones, Netbooks, Connected TV’s, In-Car systems and much more.
