Archos Claims Third Spot on EU Tablet Market

Archos has announced it is the second biggest vendor of tablets on the European market. If the tablets above €400 (yes, that’s mainly you Apple) aren’t counted, the company would be leading the market.

Admob: Android Increased 97% from October to December

iPhone Leading Sales in the US

In Nielsen’s latest report, the analyst shows that the iPhone is now holding 4% of the market. With this achievement, Apple has beaten the BlackBerry in one of the most important markets. BB is now second with 3.7% for the 8300 series devices.

Strategy Analytics has disclosed numbers on global handset sales. Nokia is still leading the list of vendors but Apple, LG and Samsung are continuing growth.

Gartner’s Android Predictions for 2012

Gartner has put some research in the future of Android and it seems the OS is here to stay. The company expects that Android will outsell iPhone OS in about two years but might not be able to beat Symbian.
