Last week, Google removed a big number of dodgy apps from Android Market. As these malware apps looked a lot like more famous apps, they managed to attract a whole lot of downloads.

Android Equipped With Kill Switch

Just like the iPhone, it seems that Google’s Android devices are also equipped with a killswitch. This means that someone can deactivate software from a distance.
