Apple Releases iPhone OS 4.0 Beta 2

Apple has released the second beta version of the iPhone OS 4.0 to the development community. With the new OS (which has been beefed up to 355MB), Apple seems to have made a lot of bugfixes.

Changewave: iPhone Most Popular OS in the US

Changewave has sent out a survey to over 4.000 consumers to ask them which phone they own and which smartphone platform they like to own next. Though Android support is growing fast, iPhone is still first.

iPhone to Allow Multitasking in OS 4.0?

While iPhoneOS 3.2 hasn’t even been rolled out, the first rumors about iPhone OS 4.0 have started to surface. The biggest update? The iPhone will finally allow multitasking and thus, become a real smartphone.

iPad Causes iPhone Development Peak

DragonFire SDK Enables iPhone Development on Windows

One of the biggest frustration for Windows developers is the obligation to buy a mac in order to develop for Apple’s iPhone OS. Though Adobe announced a solution already, it seems DragonFire SDK has beaten the giant to it.

AdMob’s OS Metrics for August
