Apple Closing the Gap with Nintendo in the US

Research from NewZoo shows that Apple is closing the gap between them and Nintendo in the US as Apple has registered over 40 million iOS gamers while Nintendo has 41 million gamers tied to their DS range of consoles.

Gartner: Android to be Leading in Four Years

According to a study from Gartner, Android keeps picking up speed and with the current growth, it is likely to outnumber Apple’s iOS based devices in North America by the end of the current year.

Asymco: iPod Touch Represents 37.7% of iOS devices

Market researcher Asymco has calculated that at least one out of three iOS devices is not connected over 3G. Asymco calculated this based on Apple’s own statistics.
