NPD: Android Takes the Lead, Google: 200.000 New Androids a Day

Google Fights Piracy with Android Licensing Service

To fight Piracy on the Android Market, Google has introduced a new licensing service. Developers can use the licensing service to let their apps check if the phone they run on belongs to a registered buyer of the app.
