Android 3.0 Compatible with Smartphones

Security Flaw in Android 2.3’s Micro SD Access

North Carolina State University’s Xuxian Jiang has discovered a security flaw in Google’s Android 2.3 Gingerbread. According to the researcher, malicious websites can read out userdate on Micro SD cards.

Larry Page to Replace Google CEO Eric Schmidt

Android 2.2 Dominates

Google’s most recent numbers show Android 2.2 is dominating the Android Market. 51.8% of the Android Market users use devices with this Android version. Android 2.1 is second most popular with 35.2% of users on it.

Motorola Expects to sell 800K Million Xooms in Q1

DigiTimes claims that Motorola expects to ship 700K~800K Xoom devices to retailers in the first quarter of 2011. Motorola will be selling the device from March onward.
