Rovio Launches Angry Birds Free on App Store

Rovio has launched a new free version of Angry Birds on Apple’s App Store. The title competes directly with the Angry Birds and Angry Birds Lite versions licensed to EA owned publisher Chillingo.

Angry Birds Bomb GetJar

Angry Birds officially launched on Android today, and it had selected GetJar as the channel to star on. As the game was given away for free, it seemed to have killed the portal.

Amazon Launches Kindle on Android

Following a successful launch on the iPhone, Amazon has now pushed their Kindle platform onto Android. Kindle for Android is free and offers access to Amazon’s full ebook repository.

Distimo: Games More Popular on iPhone than on iPad
