Windows Mobile 6 Marketplace Online May 9th

With most consumers transferred to alternative platforms like Android, iOS and Windows Phone, Windows Mobile is now heading to an end of life status. Starting May 9th, Microsoft will take down its marketplace.

Apple Ends iPhoneOS 2.x Support

Apple has announced it will no longer support iPhoneOS 2.x devices. Owners of iPhoneOS 2.x should upgrade to at least iPhoneOS 3.x or iOS 4.0. iPhoneOS 2.x launched with the iPhone 3G.

First iPhone Reaches ‘End of Life’

Apple During the introduction of iPhone OS 4.0, Steve Jobs already announced that 4.0 would not be fully backward compatible. As so, the 3G models would not receive multitasking support.

PalmOS Hits EOL Status

Palm has announced that their PalmOS has reached the End Of Life status. The OS which has been a Palm trademark for many years will be traded in for the brand new WebOS.
